One of LA’s leaders in interactive horror theater, Delusion is noted as the most intense haunted house in LA, and not without reason. Dark Harvest is an interactive and fully immersive haunted house and haunted maze designed to terrify you out of your skin with a new theme each year. Check out the bonus eighth gable and the secret staircase replete with stair-climbing ghosts, the giggling ghost boy in the attic and a woman who peers out the windows, said to be Hawthorne’s cousin Susannah. If so, you will love Boldt Castle on its heart-shaped island in St. Lawrence Seaway’s 1,000 Islands. Underway as a summer home for a millionaire’s wife, the castle’s construction was not yet complete in 1904 when she died of heart failure. The heartbroken Mr. Boldt walked away and the castle was abandoned until its 1977 rescue.

She can be seen stepping into the elevator and pressing multiple buttons, then peeking outside. Later, she steps out of the elevator and waves her arms, but no one else is ever shown in the video. Others have reported hearing trumpet music coming from suite 928, where Montgomery Clift, an actor, used to practice his skills before his death in 1966. If you’re in the Santa Clarita area and are a fan of all things haunted, you may be familiar with The Darm Realm, Restless Souls Manor, and The Farm, all iconic home haunts in the area for several years in their own rights.

"I think (it's) really cool that every owner since has just kind of preserved her memory for the space," Putman said. "It's a very special house where people immediately get, you know, emotionally connected when they're there." Designed by LA architect William King and built in 1982, the listing comes with several gathering spaces in and around the home, with charming gardens, a wraparound deck and a garage that could be used as studio space.

Due to the history, it wasn’t odd when subsequent residents reported hearing sobbing noises, and seeing ghostly figures at night emerge from the servant quarters.

The fare runs from high-end upscale French fare to classic bar food from longtime hip spot Northern Lights Lounge on Baltimore Street to newcomer and award-winning Baobab Fare with East African cuisine. Or stop in for a coffee and croissants in North End at the recently opened French-inspired Café Noir. These three areas are east of downtown Detroit with Jefferson as their common border street. Rivertown has several restaurants on or near the water including longstanding Sinbad’s.

Milwaukee Junction/New Center/North End

Historic West Village is between Jefferson Avenue and Kercheval and home to award-winning Marrow, a neighborhood butcher shop and restaurant and Sister Pie. Primarily a residential neighborhood, you can admire the many architectural styles of the area homes from Colonial, Georgian and Mediterranean Revival to many Tudor styles. Jefferson Chalmers is on the river side of Jefferson and is also noted as the canal district. You can enjoy a meal with a water view, admire stately homes or head to a restaurant by bike or kayak and sip cocktails or have brunch.

Eastern Market, Detroit

It’s home to iconic Detroit classics such as The Whitney, an old mansion built by a lumber baron, newcomer Vecino with Mexico City fare and the forthcoming Leña offering Spanish-influenced fare. I typically refrain from writing reviews, but my experience at this establishment compels me to share. Finding competent staff is a challenge, and it's clear that this restaurant is understaffed.

Detroit House of Pancakes

A multicultural city surrounded entirely by Detroit, Hamtramck’s food scene is shaped by the immigrant populations that have settled there. Early Polish settlers remain, lending the region’s most popular restaurants for pierogi, potato pancakes and seared kielbasa, while a large Arab presence brings a host of Middle Eastern, namely Yemeni, restaurants to town. On the city’s west side, Livernois Avenue boasts a rich presence of food businesses that reflect the African diaspora.

Shortly after placing my order, I was served a coffee, but then the waitress seemed to disappear. He identified it as the Western omelette I had ordered and promptly brought it over, even offering to prepare a fresh one. Disappointingly, my toast never arrived, my coffee remained unrefilled, and the only time I saw my original waitress was when it came time to pay the $20 bill for the meal.Although the food was satisfactory, the service was deplorably lacking. This area of Detroit neighbors the north end of Midtown and is known for the Fisher Theater and the main Henry Ford Hospital campus. Milwaukee Junction is nestled off of East Grand Boulevard and Woodward Avenue while New Center is off West Grand Boulevard and Woodward.

Was accused of stealing by a waitres because she couldnt even keep track with everyones orders. I will never come here again and you would think with it being a black business they wouldnt stick to typical stereotypes but i guess the community will always fall short with that. For the action-seekers looking to take in the bustling energy that has downtown Detroit abuzz, the Free Press team has already offered a guide for breakfast, lunch and dinner near the NFL Draft activations.

Whether you have a taste for soul food, African dishes or takes on Mexican cuisine fused with Caribbean flavors, Livernois has an abundance of options for you. Adjacent to Corktown is Core City, home to True North, a village of live/work dwellings composed of shipping containers. The area’s culinary community is new, but growing with quality eateries that draw a young, hip crowd. At Café Muse, guests will find a menu of “comfort food with a twist,” made using as many fresh, natural, and locally sourced ingredients as possible. What first started in Oregon in the 1950s turned into a Grosse Pointe Woods superstar in 1962, and has only gotten more popular ever since. With three Metro Detroit locations, The Original House of Pancakes will only leave you satisfied after a breakfast or brunch visit.

West Village/Jefferson Chalmers/Rivertown

The brunch menu combines strong Mediterranean spices along with classic breakfast items, all served with Michigan vanilla maple syrup. Served daily, you can order specials like the brown butter pancakes, with blueberry compote and burnt cinnamon whipped cream or next level chocolate chip pancakes with cacao nibs, whipped chocolate ganache, and crème fraîche. The yeasted Belgian waffles are served with whipped Plugra butter, raspberry jam, and crushed pistachio while the chocolate praline French toast has notes of chocolate hazelnut praline, roasted strawberry, crushed hazelnut, and vanilla crème fraîche.

Its bar and dining scene is a melting pot of cuisines with longtime favorites and a host of newer ones. There are fine dining spots, longtime upscale Italian places and award-winning casual fare. Off of the brunch menu, get a little fancy with pumpkin cheesecake stuffed French toast or the chicken and waffles. As its name implies, Greektown’s culinary identity is largely shaped by early Greek settlers. Here, you’ll find saganaki, or flaming cheese, on just about any menu as well as Greek salads, gyros and baklava. Over the years, Greektown has introduced a range of cuisines, from barbecue joints to Detroit-favorite pizza shops, and has developed a bustling nightlife scene. If you’re looking for a lively dinner or a walkable bar crawl just outside of downtown Detroit, Greektown is likely your best bet. The only American city with an Arab majority, Dearborn’s dining scene is rich with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants of various cultures.

Over 20 years ago, The Emory was built by hand, with features like the wood bar and seats made from fallen trees from the farm of the owners’ great grandfather, Emory Johnston. They implement items such as seasonal vegetables, egg whites, and goat cheese into the breakfast menu. With the breakfast menu, keep it simple with the buttermilk pancakes or French toast, both served with Michigan-made maple syrup.

Here is where you’ll find some of the best Iraqi, Lebanese, Yemeni and Syrian staples in the country, like crisp falafel, creamy hummus, tender shawarma, syrupy knafeh and Turkish coffee. With one of the country’s largest Muslim populations, there's also an increasing number of restaurants serving halal meats, including chain eateries and fast food spots. This spot is a Detroit staple when it comes to breakfast, and the menu does not disappoint. At Detroit House of Pancakes, order pancakes with fruit, with options like strawberry, blueberry, and banana, or griddle specialties like cinnamon roll French toast or the apple spice waffle. From the breakfast specials menu, order country chicken and waffles, with a cornbread cheddar waffle, buttermilk fried chicken, topped with country sausage gravy, or the banana bread, Crème Brûlée, and strawberry cheesecake French toast options. Southwest Detroit’s vibrant Latino community has shaped the neighborhood into a destination for some of Michigan’s best Latin cuisine.

"They are heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, rushing into harm’s way to protect us," Biden said. It's plausible Redick is a natural, but even those looking at Redick through rose-colored spectacles must admit he would take some time to find his voice and be fully comfortable. They need someone who is able to come in from day one with a crystal clear vision and a confidence they can execute it. With no relevant track record, putting him in charge could only be seen as a huge gamble and the Hornets don't have any house money left. He's not spent three year as an assistant like Pat Riley with the Lakers, or two years as an NBA consultant like Steve Nash did for the Warriors, or a previous career in the front office like Steve Kerr in Phoenix.

Charlotte wore a horseshoe brooch to the funeral, a gift from Elizabeth, who had a love of horses. In 2022, she attended one of her first royal engagements with her parents, joining William, Kate and George on a visit to Cardiff Castle during Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebration. As she has grown older, Charlotte has made more public appearances with her parents and her brothers.

Yet if the company was to lose rights in broadcasting games for the league, he has a clause in his contract that would make him a free agent and able to explore opportunities elsewhere. While appearing on The Really Big Show on ESPN 850 Cleveland, Barkley explained what he did in contract negotiations to safeguard against such a reality. In an interview several months after Charlotte's birth, Kate spoke about how excited family members, including the late queen, were to have a girl join the family.

Let another team look like the genius and make it work when they hire Al Horford as coach in 2027. In 15 years of following the Hornets I'm yet to see them function at even an average level in terms of strategy, Charlotte have no room for error so don't get cute now. So often the voice of nuance and reason on ESPN's First Take, he's the spiritual representative for educated NBA fans. He has charisma and an excellent good reputation around the league with players and coaches.

The shooter fired on the officers with a high-powered rifle from a second-floor window, ultimately shooting eight and killing four over the course of the standoff before he was shot dead on the front lawn. Kidd also came into coaching after winning an NBA Championship as a player, and making 10x All-Star and 9x All-Defense teams. Players he coached knew of his reputation and grew up watching him play with one of the most advanced basketball IQs on the planet. That means something when it comes to credibility with players and staff, and it's something Redick's career can't replicate. Charlotte is expected to spend her 9th birthday privately with her family in Windsor, where they now live. The young royal made her public debut just hours after her birth at St. Mary's Hospital in London. Kensington Palace on Thursday released a new photo taken by Kate in Windsor in the last few days, according to the palace. Based off the cumulative grades, many experts seem to believe the Carolina Panthers might’ve reached a time or two (or four or five) during the 2024 NFL draft. ESPN Charlotte will now air ESPN Radio’s Keyshawn, JWill, and Zubin in morning drive.

Both Kate and William have taken time off from public duties this year due to Kate's health. Kate underwent abdominal surgery in January and then announced in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Both she and George joined William and Kate for the queen's funeral later that year.

Cotten, the only woman in the city’s sports radio scene, will serve as the show’s insider and provide commentary on news and pop culture. At a royal engagement on Tuesday, William responded to a well-wisher who asked about his family by saying, "We are all doing well, thank you." Charlotte's most recent public appearance was in December, when she joined her family on their traditional walk to the Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

Some point to Dallas Head Coach Jason Kidd as the example of how it could work out. But did it workout for his first two coaching stops in Brooklyn and Milwaukee? As soon as he left Milwaukee Budenholzer turned them into perennial playoff contenders and an NBA champion. For Kidd, well he had to rebuild his reputation as an assistant in LA before earning the Dallas position. Due to his lack of physical gifts, Redick was forced to work harder than everyone else and had to think the game at a higher level, two characteristics which will suit him well as a coach.

"The queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl, and I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington, she was one of our first visitors here," Kate said in an interview with ITV in 2016. The photo was shared on social media with the caption, "Happy 9th Birthday, Princess Charlotte! 🎂 Thank you for all the kind messages today." Biden was already scheduled to visit Wilmington, N.C., to deliver a speech.

You are the one criticised in the media, you are the one players blame, you have to manage relationships with not only players, but an entire staff while simultaneously staying on the same page as the front office. There isn't another example of someone being appointed as a head coach in NBA history who had no experience working in the front office or as a coach at a high level of basketball, or wasn't an All-Star level player. It appears I might be in the minority, but in this case I am choosing history vs the field.

The speed which some move past that massive, glaring issue is bewildering to me. One of Redick's unique skills is how he articulates his advanced understanding of the game, either on ESPN broadcasts, "The Old Man and The Three" or the "Mind The Game" podcasts. The latter which features LeBron James as co-host, which goes someway to stamping a seal of approval on Redick's character and basketball IQ. I'll admit, before the reported interview with Charlotte, I watched his podcast and thought to myself "He could be an NBA coach if he wanted to be". Fescoe was amused by a suggestion to have 610 Sports Kansas City host Jay Binkley on Bally Sports Kansas City making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

It resulted in Klingler revealing that they had offered things to the regional sports network within the overall programming. Later in the show, Fescoe and Klingler read messages from listeners about alternative programming they would place on the Bally Sports-branded networks. One listener suggested that the Florida-based regional sports networks within the cluster should televise meth races and alligator wrestling. One listener was curious what would happen if the Bally Sports app and Audacy app were to get in a fight. The president had previously made statements on the tragic shooting, condemning gun violence and calling for more funding for law enforcement to allow for needed resources.

If Redick had a real passion to be an NBA Head Coach, why hasn't he done a better job of putting himself in position to be a serious candidate? Looking at his CV currently, you can't argue he is under qualified for the position. It isn't the first time Biden has consoled Americans in the wake of tragedies. The four officers were killed this Monday, April 29, in a standoff that occurred when law enforcement arrived at a Charlotte home to serve a felony warrant.

ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. announced today via his X account that he and Dari Nowkhah are ending their weekend ESPN Radio show.
